is the official body in charge of measuring radio audiences in the UK. It is jointly owned by the BBC and the Radio centre on behalf of the commercial sector.















This shows that the proportion of people that listen to radio is a digital platform has significantly increased. Every year it increase.




Radio stations can use RAJAR to analyse their audiences profiles.

Who listens to heart?

25-45: 41% of listeners can be found within this age range.

Heart London now reaches 1.4 million people every week for a total of 7.8 million hours. Heart London Breakfast with Jamie & Emma now reaches 652,000 listeners every week for a total of 1.6 million hours.


Heart West Country now reaches 603,000 listeners every week for a total of 4.7 million hours. 

41% male and 59% female
