One way that online technologies can be used to enhance traditional methods is social media, there are many people on social media so this allows Kerrang to advertise really well , this is called below the line advertising because it allows the brand to advertise on a personal basic.

Another online method that Kerrrang! use is youtube this is really good for advertising as millions of people are on youtube and loads of people view loads of videos so its a really good way to get the product out there.

Another online method that could be used is pop up adds these are really good as when the audience is on a web page it will just pop up and this will stick in there brain leading them to have further research.
