Who are universal ?
Universal Pictures (also known as UniversalStudios) is an American film studio owned by Comcast through the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group division of its wholly owned subsidiary NBCUniversal.

Do these production companies have any links with other media companies ?

 Yes they do as they are such as com cast as com cast have just purchased them and is now owned by them.


What major film have they produced in the past five years?

 Halloween , night school , first man , mama Mia 

 Congolorimate  = One parent company that owns a number of smaller, subsidises companies.



Advantages of universal and working title: 
  • They both generate both of profit
  • Both very well known
  • Big brand imagine
  • Big brands, if you combine both then the ideas could make something big
  • Helps synergy.
Disadvantages of universal and working title:
  • Arguments can be caused
  • Different ideas can cause conflict 
  • As its a big business it has a tall structure so communication between could be bad and this could lead to time not being efficient.
