In the bathroom fight of the world end , we see the protagonists fighting with the antagonists- a group of aliens masquerading as young people.

In terms of misc-en-scene , the protagonists are a group of middle aged man , whilst the young people are teenaged boys. This creates a binary opposite , as the film could be read as representing the conflict between the older and younger generation

The camera then focuses on her to show how sad she is when she's thinking about it , this creates tension and makes the audience feel sorry and feel for her .
